34th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament ONGC Delhi in finals In Semi Finals beat Punjab & Sind Bank by 2-0 Jalandhar October 30, 2017 ONGC Delhi reserve berth in the finals for the first time in the 34th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament by beating Punjab & Sind Bank by 2-0 at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium here today. In the first semi finals ONGC Delhi and Punjab & Sind Bank Delhi played good hockey. In the 14th minute of the play ONGC earned the first penalty corner, their Nilam Xess converted it to get lead (1-0). After that Punjab & Sind Bank wasted three penalty corners in first half. At half time ONGC was leading by 1-0. In the second half of the game ONGC dominated. In the 55th minute of the play ONGC”s Suman Kujur netted the ball from the calculated pass of Jarmanpreet Singh from right flank (2-0). Today’s match chief guest Fetehjang Singh Bajwa MLA and Lakhwinder Singh Laddi MLA introduced with the players. Chief Guest Feteh jang Singh Bajwa announced grant of Rs 2 Lakh to the Surjit Hockey Society.
