35th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament CAG Delhi and Indian Navy Mumbai Draw with 3-3 Army XI and Indian Air Force Draw with 2-2 Jalandhar October 26th 2018 CAG Delhi and Indian Navy Mumbai locked at 3-3 draw in the 35th Indian Oil Servo Surjit Hockey Tournament here at Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium this evening. Both teams split one point each. This is Indian Navy’s second draw in league, they are having 2 points from two outings, yesterday they draw with Punjab Police with same score. Where as CAG have to face Punjab Police on 29th October. Day’s other match between Army XI and Indian Air Force also ended in draw with 2-2. both teams split points one each. In Pool A, match Indian Navy Mumbai and CAG Delhi was well fought. In the early minutes of match Indian Navy dominated the proceedings. In the 5th minute of the match Indian Navy’s Pawan Rajbhar netted the ball from left flank (1-0). Two minutes later Indian Navy’s Sunny Malik consolidated with reverse flick (2-0). In the 29th minute of the play CAG’s Imran Khan (sr) reduced the margin with field goal (1-2). At half time Indian Navy was leading by 2-1. After changing ends in the second half CAG boys bounced back. In the 7th minute Airforce took lead when their Harwant Singh netted the ball (1-0). In the 15th minute equalizer comes from the stick of Siraju of Army (1-1). In the 27th minute Army took lead when Pratap Shinde convert the penalty corner (2-1). At half time Army was leading by 2-1.
