Our father Late Mr. Sant Ram Sandhu & Mother Late Mrs. Joginder Kaur Sandhu, both along with their parents migrated from Pakistan after partition. My father was residing at Lyallpur now known as Montgomery and our Mom was from 79-Chak of Punjab (Pakistan).

Our father were 2 bothers namely Late Mr. Sant Ram Sandhu & late Mr. Kundan Lal Sandhu, who after migration, settled at village Kingra Cho Wala, Near Bhogpur, Tehsil & District Jalandhar. Our Uncle (Chacha ji) joined hands with our Grand Father late Mr. Budhu Ram Sandhu in agriculture where as our father was interested in education and finally he did his Graduation from Punjab University from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar in year 1954. In those days, getting of decree always remained talk of towns/villages.

I remember the words of my father, when I passed BA (Fraduation) in year 1984, I questioned him that why you have suffixed ‘BA’ with your name. He told, My son, when I passed BA, in more than 50 villages, people were talking “Dekho Budhoo da Munda Biya Kar Gaya" (See, the son of Budhoo has done BA). So, those days clearing exam of BA was a distinction, like clearing name in UPSC examination.

My father was totally self-made personality who was married in young age while he was studying. He completed his studies with money earned from educational scholarship. He joined as Ziledar in Irrigation department and finally he joined in Revenue department in year 1975 and expired in year 1985 while in service when he was working as Tehsildar. My mother Mrs. Joginder Kaur Sandhu was a house wife.

Our elder Sister married with Er. S. Lal who retired as General Manager, Steel Authority of India and finally settled at New Delhi. Now a days, he is doing job in India's one of the best NGO.

Our Sister is at number 2, Mrs. Saroj Mohta married with Dr. Nirmal Dass Mohta, Senior Medical Officer and has settled at Jalandhar. Their son Mr. Shivekum Singh is working as Field Officer in Punjab Coop. Bank at Jalandhar and daughter Mrs. Nonu is married and working in Health department.

Our Brother Mr. Karanjit Singh Sandhu married with Mrs. Meena Sanddhu and both are British citizens and now settled in Germany since long. They have one son Mr. Ajay Singh Sandhu and daughter Mrs. Amandeep Kaur Sandhu (Sheron

The Administrator of this website is Mr. Iqbal Singh Sandhu who is PCS Officer and presently working as Additional Deputy Commissioner (general) at Ludhiana, During his service, he worked as Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar, District Revenue Officer, SDM, Commissioner Corporation, Chairman Improvement Trust, and Additional Deputy Commissioner.

Mr. Sandhu married with Mrs. Gurvinder Kaur Sandhu in year 1993. Mrs. Gurvinder Kaur Sandhu is a working lady and running business as Proprietor of M/s. Galib Indane Gas Service, at Jalandhar since 2004. They have 2 sons namely Mr. Guriqbal Singh Sandhu and Mr. Sarfraz Singh Sandhu. Both are studying in Canada.

Our another Sisiter is Mrs. Neena Khetan who married with Er. Anil Khertan of Ahmedabad and settled there since marriage. They have one son Mr. Rohan Khetan and daughter Ms. Priyanka Khetan.

Our younger sister is Mrs, Pinky Takhar, who Married with Mr. Tulsi Ram IPS. Their Daughteris Dr. Jasmine Takhar and son is Mr. Ashamn Takkhar has completed his decree in Engineering from Thapar, Patiala.
